Episode 1: Flip My Life
It’s an unusual way to begin a marriage: living in a small camper while you renovate an abandoned house 400 miles from home. But then, the marriage itself isn’t exactly the norm: Marybeth and Rick met at 13, and married at 63: on the 50th anniversary of the day they met, their first day in 8th grade. So, why not spend your first year together renovating a house for free, and exploring the stories of people rebuilding their lives following prison? For them, it’s a way to honor the careers God gave them – in television and construction – to help others build productive lives.
